A downloadable LARP

A free-form LARP about being a terrible roleplayer.

This game was written by Noah Roysdon and Joshua Sigman at DunDraCon 43 in 2019. We hope you play it and laugh a lot.

It’s 1717, the golden age of piracy. The Deceit, a 12-gun Bermuda sloop, is becalmed 20 miles off Barbados. It’s a balmy evening, with clear skies and glassy seas, and the crew of notorious criminals and blood-thirsty killers has too much time on their hands. Being quite derisive of law and order, they decide that a mock trial would be a diverting evening’s fun. The scoundrels begin the trial of one of their own for the heinous crime of piracy. Will the accused be found innocent or guilty? Do pirates even have the attention span to get through a mock trial?
